Adam Schwartz
Head of U.S. & Europe Real Estate, Angelo, Gordon & Co.
Adam R. Schwartz is the head of the U.S./Europe real estate group and a member of the executive committee for Angelo, Gordon & Co., a leading alternative investment money management firm with $27 billion of capital under management. Adam joined Angelo, Gordon in 2000 and has been directly responsible for, or overseen, in excess of $9 billion of real estate assets at the firm through a series of opportunistic and core plus real estate funds.
Adam has significant experience in the acquisition and repositioning of all property types. Prior to joining the firm, Adam worked in the acquisitions group at Vornado Realty Trust, a public real estate investment trust. His work focused on the acquisition of public and private real estate companies in addition to single asset acquisitions. Adam received a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Adam is a member of the executive committee of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center at The Wharton School and a trustee of the Urban Land Institute.
