Edward A. Adler
Ed Adler was Managing Director responsible for the US Commercial Real Estate Group at Deutsche Bank, focusing on the origination, structuring, execution and distribution of commercial real estate loans. Previously, Mr. Adler was Managing Director and head of Americas and the Asian Real Estate Finance business for the Fixed Income Division of Citigroup. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Adler ran the Asian Real Estate Finance and Securitization businesses for Deutsche Bank Securities in Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Adler began his banking career at Citicorp in 1988. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Adler managed several loan and real estate assets and business lines at Citicorp, Inc. Mr. Adler’s experience at Citicorp consisted of construction lending, restructuring over $3 billion of commercial real estate and corporate debt, structuring credit derivatives, and full profit and loss responsibility for a $7.5 billion portfolio subprime consumer credit card debt.
Mr. Adler graduated with honors from Union College with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
