Chief Executive Officer, TPG Real Estate Finance Trust

In January of 2016, Greta Guggenheim will become Chief Executive Officer of TPG Real Estate Finance Trust, the mortgage-investment operation of TPG Capital.  In her new role, she will also be responsible for the debt strategies of TPG Real Estate.  Until August, Ms. Guggenheim served as Chief Investment Officer of Ladder Capital, a NYSE traded REIT, which she co-founded in 2008.   Prior to forming Ladder Capital, she served as a Managing Director and Head of Origination at Dillon Read Capital Management, as a Managing Director in Originations at UBS and as a Managing Director at Bear Stearns. She began her career working in real estate investment banking and commercial real estate lending at Credit Suisse. Ms. Guggenheim earned a B.A. in Economics and Spanish Literature from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania

Ms. Guggenheim was born in Marion, KY and lived there until she relocated to NYC following graduation from college.  She has a son, Sam Guggenheim, who also lives in NYC.
