Suzy Myers Jackson
Executive Director, Opening Act
Suzy is the Executive Director of Opening Act, a program that was part of The Catalog’s 5th and 6th Editions. Opening Act provides free after-school and extra-curricular programs to the most high-need NYC public high schools that have low graduation rates and a lack of theater and arts programs. In addition to her role as Executive Director, Suzy continues to serve as one of Opening Act’s teaching artists, working in their program at Cobble Hill High School. Suzy received her BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she minored in applied theatre and studied acting at CAP 21 Musical Theater Studio, Trinity College in Dublin, and the Classical Studio.
