Time In Children’s Arts Initiative understands the value of arts education in spurring creativity and critical thinking. Targeting schools in Bronx and Harlem where the arts budget has been eliminated due to budget cuts, Time In brings 600 young students to its studio where teaching artists provide a curriculum combining music, studio arts and literacy. On alternate weeks, students visit art museums, galleries and music institutions.
